PIGMENTED VILLONODULAR SYNOVITIS PRESENTING AS A POPLITEAL CYST

A patient is described with villonodular synovitis of the knee which presented with a recurrent popliteal cyst. Cystectomy failed to cure the condition, but all signs of the cyst rapidly disappeared after an anterior synovectomy.
