APPARENT BONE EROSIONS IN PAINFUL REGIONAL OSTEOPOROSIS

A case of painful regional osteoporosis of the foot is described. The radiographs show apparent erosions of bone, which resolved completely as bone density improved. The significance of erosions occurring as a result of intense osteoporosis alone is discussed.
