A DOUBLE-BLIND COMPARATIVE STUDY OF METRONIDAZOLE AND PLACEBO IN RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS

Twenty patients with active rheumatoid arthritis participated in a six-week placebo-controlled trial of metronidazole. No significant differences were observed in clinical and laboratory parameters between the metronidazole and placebo groups at the completion of the study.
