ACUTE CALCIFIC PERIARTHRITIS ASSOCIATED WITH TRANSIENT HYPOCALCAEMIA SECONDARY TO HYPOPARATHYROIDISM

Acutely painful calcific periarthritis of the shoulder is described in a woman with idiopathic hypoparathyroidism. The episode was closely associated with a transient fall in serum calcium.
