DELAYED ONSET OF POLYMYALGIA IN POLYMYALGIA RHEUMATICA

Four female patients presenting with systemic symptoms of polymyalgia rheumatica are described. They suddenly developed classical girdle pains up to a year after the onset of severe systemic symptoms, a course not often emphasized.
