RAPID CHANGES IN MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING OF MUSCLE DURING THE TREATMENT OF JUVENILE DERMATOMYOSITIS

Serial MRI examinations in a case of juvenile dermatomyositis have shown differing disease activity in different muscle groups, rapid onset of resolution of signal changes after the commencement of treatment in the presence of a contradictory deterioration of aspartate transaminase, and the importance of critical analysis of the images.
