   Abstract

Patients with HLA-B27 positive ankylosing spondylitis (AS) in a Swiss family study developed non-granulomatous acute anterior uveitis (AAU) 11 times more often than their healthy relatives sharing the same HLA-B27 positive haplotype (4.4% versus 0.4% p>0.01) during a period of 6 months
