Erratum

Matteson EL, Weyand CM, Fulbright JW, Christianson TJH, McClelland RL and Goronzy JJ. How aggressive should initial therapy for rheumatoid arthritis be? Factors associated with response to ‘non-aggressive’ DMARD treatment and perspective from a 2-yr open label trial. Rheumatology 2004;43:619-25. First published February 24, 2004, doi:10.1093/rheumatology/keh135.

The authors would like to apologize for an error in the above article. It was reported that the presence of HLA-C7xx was associated with an increased likelihood of requiring methotrexate at month 24. The ‘xx’ was an internal data entry designation which has no further significance and should have been removed prior to publication. The authors regret any confusion this may have caused.
