A case of sternoclavicular pyogenic arthritis complicated by fistula formation in a patient suffering from rheumatoid arthritis is presented. The association of fistulae and rheumatic joints is reviewed and the mechanism of fistula formation is discussed. Fistulae usually occur secondary to infection in rheumatoid joints.
